We’re Northstar Infoshop — a worker-owned bookstore and community center opening in Portland, OR in the summer of 2010.

Our mission is to be a hub for community projects and movements in Portland. We seek to cultivate and support projects that promote community independence, self-sustainability, and mutual aid. The support we provide will take many forms: mini-grants, collective advising, resource referrals, networking, and more.

Through our bookstore and lending library we will offer a wide range of books, zines, music, and art — with the common thread of creating free, sustainable communities.
